Our Practice

We are a full-service animal hospital providing comprehensive pet healthcare services in Richardson, TX. Our veterinarians offer a wide variety of medical, surgical, and dental services. Our hospital has advanced equipment and technologies, including comprehensive in-house testing for accurate diagnosis, digital x-ray, surgical suites, dental suites, and a pharmacy. We are committed to providing quality care at every stage of your pet's life. From routine preventive care to early detection and treatment of a wide range of conditions and diseases, we have the expertise to provide the highest standard of care for your pet. We also serve Plano, Carrolton, Forest Meadow's, Buckingham, and Far North Dallas.

  • Rae Falagrady, DVM

    Medical Director

    Education: Texas A&M University

    Dr. Falagrady received both her Bachelor of Science degree and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M; University. She has been practicing in Richardson, TX since her graduation in 2009 and currently resides here with her husband and their beloved fur babies (Ziggy, French Bulldog, pictured). She is looking forward to personally meeting everyone and their pets. Dr. Falagrady’s special interests include shelter medicine and canine and feline dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Falagrady enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her family.

  • Diann Smith, DVM

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Smith has been with AMCR twice!  She came on staff in 2016 for a couple of years and then returned to us in July 2021.  Dr. Smith received her B.A. and her DVM from Oklahoma State University. She has 7 pets.  Dogs Joe and Sam, and cats Eevee, Slyveon, Skitty, Glaceon and Del Catty (Deli). Dr. Smith has a special interest in internal medicine and patients, especially cats. She also gets great satisfaction when she can help an itchy pet get some relief. Dr. Smith is a diehard OSU Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan, but also loves any “close” football or baseball game.  She loves spending time with her family at Lake Texoma, the beach or at one our U.S. National Parks. Dr. Smith is married to Ben and has 2 adult children, Kayla and Josh.

  • Andrea Hesser, DVM, DACT

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Hesser is a board-certified specialist in reproductive medicine and surgery, as well as a general practitioner with special interests in pediatric care, health testing, and surgery. She became boarded in 2016, and has since been in general and specialty practice in Oklahoma and Texas. Dr. Hesser has spoken nationally and internationally to veterinarians, breeders, and owners about topics in canine reproduction and neonatology, and enjoys locum teaching 4th year veterinary students at Oklahoma State University on occasion. She attended Oklahoma State University (DVM) and University of California at Davis (DACT). When Dr. Hesser isn’t working in the office, she enjoys showing dogs in conformation and other dog sports, as well as OSU football, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

  • Stacy

    Hospital Manager

    Stacy is our Hospital Manager and has been at AMCR since February 2018. Before she came to AMCR, she was a preschool administrator. Stacy is married and has 3 adult children, 4 cats and an extra-large dog. Stacy loves walking, reading (memoirs are the best!), baking, binge watching shows and spending time with her husband, Steve. Stacy’s philosophy is kindness first, and loves getting to know clients and their pets. She also believes in good company culture, making sure that AMCR is both a great place to work and bring your pets.

  • Lupe

    Client Services Rep

    Lupe has been with AMCR since August of 2015. Lupe wins the prize for most animals, with 10 dogs and 8 fish. Her dogs are Mason, Apollo, Madison, Morocco, Maverick, Jerry, Milan, Hailey, Aspen and Jag.  Outside work Lupe loves to build things and make desserts. She also loves to fish and go to the beach. Her absolute favorite thing is Halloween and scary movies.

  • Michelle

    Technician

    Michelle has been at AMCR since August 2007 and is one of our lead staff. Michelle says she has “too many” pets to count, but we know she is a dog mom to Snack, Luke and Gaston. Michelle has a huge heart and shows this thru the rescue and rehoming of many animals over the years.  Michelle also works at MedVet Richardson.

  • Alli

    LVT

    Alli has been with AMCR since March of 2015 and is a lead member of our staff. Alli “collects” special needs pets, and both her cats, Bandit and Stuart have medical issues. Outside of work Alli enjoys volleyball, rollerblading and interior design.  Alli is originally from the Cornhusker state of Nebraska.

  • Claudia

    Kennel Technician

    Claudia has been with AMCR since August of 2001. She has one dog named Atticus. Claudia is our head kennel tech and pinch-hits as a Technician Assistant when needed! She and her husband are the proud parents of two grown sons, Danny and Kevin. Claudia was born in Germany and moved to the United States in 1992.

  • Willa

    Kennel Technician

    Willa has been with AMCR since March 2017. She also assists in the hospital as needed. Willa has a dog named Zellie, and 4 cats named Baxter, Sully, Henry and Dorothy. Willa is a talented artist and won several awards for her work in high school.  She loves the band Fall Out Boy, collecting pop figures and being with friends.

  • Stephanie

    Client Services Rep

    Stephanie joined AMCR in August 2021 as a CSR. Stephanie has one dog named Oatly and a fish named Frost. Stephanie owns over 100 pairs of shoes and enjoys shopping in her spare time. She also loves traveling, new food and Netflix.

  • Dakota

    Technician

    Dakota is one of our technicians. He started as a client service representative for the first year and a half and then transferred to medical where he started learning vital skills necessary to become a tech. He’s currently going to school at Penn Foster to become a licensed vet tech to accompany his bachelor’s in Biology from Arizona State University. He loves animals and has four cats at home: Opal, Morty, Kismet and Oberon. In his free time, he likes to play video games, read, and watch horror movies.
