Our beautiful building is located on the corner of West Campbell and Nantucket in Richardson.  The hospital has been open in this location since 2000.

Welcome to the Animal Medical Center.  Please register with our front desk staff....We are happy to see you!

Come in and have a seat in our comfortable waiting room!  The nurses will be with you shortly.

Is your pet a 'fraidy cat?  Please have a seat in our special 'cat waiting' area.  No dogs allowed!!

Our exam rooms are roomy and comfortable.  Each room has padded bench seating with room for at least 2 adults.  Treats for your furry pal are available in each room!!  The nurses will weigh your pet, take a brief history, and obtain important vital signs.  Your pet may be taken out of the exam room to our treatment area for a blood draw if necessary.

Our 'behind the scenes' treatment area.  We utilize this area for phlebotomy and treatment of sick pets.  Sick animals who need hospitalization are housed in this area.

Radiographs of your pet might be necessary to help the doctors obtain more information about the health status of your pet.  We utilize foam, padded troughs to ensure the comfort of your pet while radiographs are taken. 

Our lab is equipped with machines to allow the doctors to obtain immediate results about the organ functions of your pets.  Occasionally, blood work and urine specimens may be sent to an outside laboratory for more 'specialized' testing.

Our pharmacy is equipped with medication to help your pet feel better.  We also carry most "well pet" medication to help protect your pet from heartworms, intestinal parasites, and external parasites (such as fleas and ticks).  The medication that we don't carry in stock can be easily ordered from our online pharmacy and delivered directly to your home!

Our hospital area is extremely comfortable for sick pets.  We have all the luxuries of home including heated cages to keep our small friends warm.

We have state of the art anesthetic machines and monitoring equipment.  All pets are intubated with an endotracheal tube and monitored constantly during surgical procedures by the surgeon and an anesthetic nurse.  Patients are monitored with an EKG machine, a pulse oximeter device, and auscultation throughout the duration of the surgery. 

Our special 'kitty condos' are designed with your cat's comfort in mind!  Each condo is multi-level, allowing for different resting perches.  Some of our condos have a view of the large fish tank in the lobby, while others are offered a view of the outdoors!  

Our roomy, indoor kennel area contains many sizes of sturdy, individual kennels for dogs of all sizes.  Our climate controlled kennel offers a comfortable boarding experience for dogs.  The kennel is directly connected to a large, fully enclosed, outdoor play and potty area.  Our dog guests can stretch their legs safely, off leash, several times daily while being fully supervised by kennel staff.  Families of dogs are allowed play time together in our large yard!
